HANOI TripHunter travel planning application has surpassed 6 competitors, won first prize with a prize of VND 200 million in cash and a trip to Israel.
On August 28, the Center for Youth Entrepreneurship Support, the Embassy of Israel in Vietnam and other related units held the Final of the Creative Entrepreneurship Idea Contest – Startup Hunt 2019 with the theme of Tourism.
The first prize was awarded to TripHunter, an application that helps travelers self-schedule their plans to visit destinations in Vietnam. Users can find destination information, airline tickets, hotels, tours, activities and online booking services. The second prize with the prize of VND 100 million belongs to Cheepcheep – the platform to buy tickets for sightseeing, entertainment and playing tickets. The third prize with VND 50 million was awarded to Mitta Tours – an automated tour guide application.
In addition to the cash prize, three representatives of the three highest-winning idea groups were given a tour of Israeli startup models. In addition, the Organizing Committee also presented a consolation prize to the author group of VietBuddy and Liberzy, a promising prize for Travel 360.
Starting from 5/7, the competition has received 236 ideas from 500 authors. In which, 7 ideas with names: Cheepcheep, eTen, Liberzy, Mitta Tours, Travel 360, TripHunter and VietBuddy were selected for the final round. In this round, the authors work with experts in the field of Policy, Finance, Administration, Marketing, etc. to complete the presentation.
